Whoever Exalts Himself Shall Be Humbled

At that time, the disciples  approached   Jesus and asked, “Who is  the greatest  in the kingdom of heaven?”  Jesus, having called to a child, set him in their midst and said to them, “Verily I say to you that if you do not convert, and if you do not become like children,  you will not enter the kingdom of heaven. Therefore, everyone who humbles himself and becomes small like this child will be the greatest in the kingdom of heaven, and as I have stated, everyone who receives a child in my name receives me likewise.” (Mt. 18:1-5)
